About the role

Join our team as a Solutions Architect and help us accelerate the U.S. War Department business as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice. This role offers opportunities to work with innovative teams, develop technical skills, and contribute to shaping strategies for cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies and broader knowledge of application and service construction on the AWS platform
• Being a subject matter expert on security related to customer applications and services
• Providing thoughtful technical design and sensitivity to customer needs in defense markets for cloud computing
• Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community
• Led efforts to learn from, collaborate with, and educate the brightest technical minds in the industry

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Travel up to 50%
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Qualifications

• Executive speaking and presentation skills
• Technical experience in development/deployment, cloud computing, containerization, networking, generative AI, etc.
• Operational experience in web site/services operations, management, and security
• Economic and business experience in RFP/Acquisition support, technical architecture, understanding market trends, cost benefit analysis, advisory/consulting experience with War Department customers

Skills

• Create, build, educate, train, and design cloud computing architectures for War Department customers

Pay

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
