Senior Solutions Analyst - Payments
Lead the forefront of innovative solutions analysis in a dynamic tech environment, driving success through expertise in data analytics and technical program delivery at JP Morgan Chase & Co.
Responsibilities
- Review business requirements to ensure the complete scope of business needs is articulated.
- Perform detailed analysis on requirements and develop standard, reusable solutions.
- Build functional solutions for ongoing Cross Border and Real Time Payment initiatives, adhering to ISO CBPR+ standards.
- Prepare detailed interface mapping documents and static data that meet all solutions and business requirements.
- Review solutions and interface mapping documents with business and technology stakeholders to align with customer expectations and business needs.
- Ensure the overall quality of functional solutions and interface mapping documents aligns with standard practices across the program.
- Assist business with UAT onboarding, including test case preparation, planning, communication, and close tracking of activities.
- Work proactively with fellow Business Analysts and team members to distribute work proportionally and meet targets.
- Engage, manage, and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
- Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps, and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for analysis and documentation, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years as a Solution Analyst in the payments domain within corporate and investment banking.
- Extensive experience in Cross Border Payments delivery across markets.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging and strong experience with MX messages.
- Proven ability to work across business streams with exposure to front-to-back system implementation.
- Strong understanding of key technology concepts, business, and technical architecture.
- Ability to accurately translate and document business needs into functional requirements and produce quality documentation.
- Ability to drive multiple agendas and effectively manage priorities.
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and display strong initiative.
- Pragmatic team player with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support solutions analysis workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain, and following data handling expectations.
