Senior Soil Technician

About the role

LGC Geotechnical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Soils Technician with at least 5 years of experience. Key responsibilities include construction monitoring, sampling and testing soils, and producing daily field reports. Essential skills include excellent written/verbal communication and general computer knowledge. Additional experience with grading and construction in industrial and residential developments is preferred.

Requirements

• Own vehicle with valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Experience in Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in soil testing and construction monitoring
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Skills

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills

• Experience with grading and construction in industrial and residential developments

Pay

Total Estimated Compensation: $50,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, qualifications, etc.
