About the Role
A growing organization in Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Land Technician to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with a strong background in oil & gas land administration and mineral management. You'll play a key role in resolving complex ownership matters, managing mineral portfolios, and working directly with clients.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in oil & gas land administration, mineral management, or a related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge of mineral ownership, title research, division orders, leases, and royalty administration
- Experience resolving ownership discrepancies and payment issues
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and mineral portfolios simultaneously
- Strong proficiency in Excel and industry software such as Enverus, iLandman, MineralWare, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Marcellus shale is a plus but not required
