Senior Software Release Technical Program Manager, Hyperscale Line of Business
What You'll Do
- End-to-End Release Ownership: Own the overall release plan, including scope, milestones, and dependencies. You’ll be the primary point of contact for release lines across Product, Engineering, QA, and Security.
- Strategic Program Leadership: Manage multiple concurrent workstreams involving cross-functional stakeholders. You will own the "big picture," ensuring that high-level technical architecture aligns with execution.
- Release Integrity: Own release branch health metrics. You’ll lead bug scrubs, triage critical issues, and define the criteria for merging new payloads (leveraging your experience with Git-based workflows).
- Operational Excellence: Drive the Product Lifecycle (PLC) phase exit reviews (Phases 0–3). You will define exit criteria, ensure they are met, and formally drive approvals.
- Risk & Conflict Resolution: Identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and risks early. You’ll facilitate technical decision-making and resolve conflicts across team boundaries to keep the engine moving.
- Financial & Resource Stewardship: Responsible for Capex planning. You will ensure spend is within bounds through accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting.
What You Bring
- The Experience: 7+ years of experience as a TPM, specifically driving complex, feature-rich software programs.
- The Education: A Bachelor’s in CS or Engineering is required; an MS in Computer Science or an MBA in Engineering Management is strongly preferred.
- SDLC Mastery: Proven expertise managing the entire lifecycle—from initial investigation and design to execution and post-market customer feedback.
- Technical Fluency: You can "speak engineer." You understand high-level architecture and can participate meaningfully in Git merge discussions and vendor/partner roadmap optimizations.
- Communication Mastery: You have the "executive presence" to report status to the C-suite, while maintaining the technical depth to drive a triage meeting with senior developers.
