About the role

The Motional Technical Program Management team is seeking a TPM to support software performance evaluation activities. This role involves collaboration and management across various teams including autonomy integration, software, hardware, operations, and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage planned software performance evaluation activities, ensuring resources and infrastructure are available and plans are coordinated and approved.
  • Manage the execution of software performance evaluation activities, tracking progress against key metrics and removing blockers and inefficiencies as needed.
  • Partner with autonomy integration to monitor, analyze, and improve overall and targeted SW configurations.
  • Communicate at both engineering and executive levels, conducting performance reviews and retrospectives, setting priorities, and coordinating between multiple teams and external stakeholders.
  • Help define and track key organizational objectives, proactively identifying, managing, and reporting on risks and issues.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration and automated SW testing.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with complex systems, including autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, etc.
  • Experience working across teams and disciplines to resolve competing priorities and manage dependencies.
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, skilled at conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, able to communicate complex engineering issues and tailor messaging based on audience.
  • Experience using Confluence and JIRA to plan project activities and track progress.
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to come into a Motional office 2-3 days a week at a minimum.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $125,000 USD - $167,000 USD. Additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or company equity may be offered. Motional is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation structure.

Schedule

This role is hybrid from our Boston, Pittsburgh, or Las Vegas office. It requires in-office days each week.
