About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, Streaming & Systems, you will use AI-native engineering practices to build performance-sensitive systems across game streaming, platform software, infrastructure, and emerging product areas. You’ll work across low-level C/C++, Linux and Windows, real-time media, cloud-enabled capabilities, and systems problems that are still taking shape.
Responsibilities
- Explore, prototype, validate, and ship performance-sensitive systems that improve reliability, developer velocity, and user experience.
- Build low-level and performance-sensitive software in C/C++, primarily in Linux environments.
- Work across game streaming, platform software, infrastructure, developer tooling, and cloud-enabled capabilities.
- Use AI-native workflows for code exploration, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, automation, and rapid prototyping.
- Investigate ways cloud-delivered experiences can become better than local experiences.
- Turn ambiguous ideas into demos, experiments, measurements, and production-quality implementations.
- Debug complex systems issues across performance, reliability, platform behavior, and production-like environments.
- Collaborate with a focused engineering team and domain experts across streaming, platform, infrastructure, and cloud.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Senior-level software engineering experience, or equivalent ownership of complex systems
- Strong C/C++ skills and deep Linux systems experience.
- Practical fluency with AI-native engineering workflows, including coding agents, LLM-assisted debugging, test generation, automation, and rapid exploration.
- Experience in systems-oriented or performance-sensitive codebases.
- Strong product judgment, systems curiosity, and a focus on improving user and developer experience.
- The ability to operate in ambiguity, prototype quickly, validate ideas, and harden successful approaches.
- Clear communication skills and a habit of raising team quality through technical judgment, reusable workflows, and mentoring by example.
- A habit of taking ownership, communicating trade-offs clearly, and keeping momentum as priorities change.

Pay
The estimated base pay range for this role is $177,300—$265,900 USD.
