About the role

As a Front Office Engineer at Goldman Sachs, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust, low-latency systems crucial for pricing, quoting, and hedging a diverse range of financial instruments, such as USTs, Swaps, and MBS. You will also develop innovative platforms that enable efficient risk and P&L management for our trading desks. A key aspect of your role will involve leveraging AI-driven analytics for sophisticated data analysis and to inform predictive pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, low-latency systems for pricing, quoting, and hedging financial instruments.
  • Develop innovative platforms for efficient risk and P&L management.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics for sophisticated data analysis and predictive pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly identify scope and impact of issues.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Services or Fintech.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience working on high availability, mission critical systems.
  • Experience with microservice architectures (SOA).
  • Experience engineering solutions with distributed tracing, performance testing, authentication, authorization.
  • Experience with UNIX operating systems internals, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and networking.
  • Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, and software design.

Skills
