About the role

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, low-latency systems crucial for pricing, quoting, and hedging a diverse range of financial instruments, such as USTs, Swaps, and MBS.
• Develop innovative platforms that enable efficient risk and P&L management for our trading desks.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics for sophisticated data analysis and to inform predictive pricing strategies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (Java, C/C++, Python).
• Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly identify scope and impact of issues.
• Team oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience working on high availability, mission critical systems.
• Experience with microservice architectures (SOA).
• Experience engineering solutions with distributed tracing, performance testing, authentication, authorization.
• Experience with UNIX operating systems internals, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and networking.
• Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, and software design.

Skills

• Experience with modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience with AWS.

Pay

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
