About the role
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for Department of Defense systems. Requires TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
Qualifications
- Passionate about solving complex technical problems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
Skills
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of security best practices for DoD environments
