Senior Software Engineer, Browser Extension

About the role

Lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable features for the company Browser Extension using JavaScript and React
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define user experience requirements
• Ensure high coding standards through test-driven development and code reviews
• Optimize the browser extension's performance, reliability, and security to meet user demands
• Maintain and enhance the current codebase by fixing bugs and refactoring as needed
• Participate in knowledge-sharing through code reviews and teamwork
• Stay updated on web development trends and cybersecurity best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development with a solid grasp of core concepts
• 3+ years working with React, Redux, Jest, and TypeScript
• Proven background in browser extension development, addressing compatibility and browser APIs
• Familiar with modern web tools like Webpack, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong understanding of frontend architectures and UI/UX principles
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest
• Ability to maintain and enhance a large, complex codebase

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
