Senior Software Engineer - Backend

As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, you will be responsible to:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to define feature specifications and build products
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
- Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

Experience And Qualifications
- Required Education And Years Of Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline and 20+ years' related work experience
- Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components, Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation, Experience working in an Agile software development environment, Experience using with Jira and Confluence, Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software, Experience with the following software development skills: Git, Java, C++, Python, Relational database, such as Postgres SQL
- Desired Qualifications: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Experience with: Docker/Kubernetes, HAProxy, Nginx, Elastic Stack, Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized, up to 16 hours per week, depending on team and workload
Pay Range
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. $200,000 - $250,000
