Senior Software Developer (Hybrid or Remote)

Responsibilities

• Build the platforms that power specialty insurance at global scale.
• Combine hands-on engineering with team leadership to ship secure, high-performing solutions across .NET (C#), Angular/React, and Azure.
• Architect microservices, craft elegant UIs, and automate CI/CD.
• Mentor a high-impact squad and partner with product, design, and underwriting to turn complex needs into simple, scalable software that delights users and moves the business.
• Thrive in modern architectures (API-first, event-driven), pragmatic engineering, and teaching best practices.
• Develop applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Angular and React.
• Implement and optimize solutions on Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and comply with security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise: Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with Angular and React for front-end development. Proven experience deploying and managing applications in Azure.
• Skills: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Proficiency in SQL Server and ORM frameworks. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is: $101,000 - $143,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $128,000 - $149,000. In addition to base salary, full-time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits.
