Senior Software Developer

Pay

$58.00 - $62.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Designing, writing, and maintaining software applications.
• Developing written specifications, coding, and unit testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree.
• 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• 5 years’ experience with web development technologies (JavaScript) and JavaScript UI frameworks (ReactJS).
• Strong skills in Typescript, JSX, Sass/SCSS, Styled components.
• 5 years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack.
• Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp, and yarn.
• Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.g., Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS.
• Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experiences.
• Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy.
• Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Skills

• Experience working with NoSQL Database.
• Experience with ElectronJS, Finsemble, or OpenFin containers.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Some experience in reactive libraries like RxJS.
