Senior Software Developer

About the Role

Participate in Agile software development for a complex DoD enterprise military housing system. Assist in gathering and analyzing user requirements from various DoD service branches. Contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of software modules. Perform debugging, configuration, and maintenance of software products. Support operational integration and provide user support as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical issues, system improvement, code reviews, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant software development experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140-compliant certification
• Expertise in Java OOP design, MVC applications, JPA/Hibernate, and JPQL
• Proficient with SQL, Git, and build tools like Maven, Ant, or Gradle
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and enterprise technologies (J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, JBoss)
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and DoD cybersecurity requirements
