Senior Software and System Design Engineer II

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Product Management (DPM) Systems Engineer II responsible for managing projects, system enhancements, and supporting the DPM systems across automotive, power sports, and power equipment sectors. This role involves providing technical leadership, overseeing tool integrations with CAD, CAE, CAM, and CAT, and serving as a key resource for PLM tools and engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervising tools and processes within the DPM team, setting support metrics, and coaching junior engineers.
• Leading implementation of next-generation CAD and PLM tools, managing medium-complexity projects, and supporting global initiatives.
• Developing strategic plans and roadmaps for DPM functionalities, presenting to leadership, and securing project funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in product design, manufacturing principles, and enterprise PLM applications.
• Knowledge of CAD, CAE, manufacturing applications, and IT disciplines like programming, database management, and DevSecOps.
• Strong communication, project management, and cross-region collaboration skills.
