Marketing$100k–$120k/yrFull-time

About the role

AMP Sports is a rapidly expanding sports media company producing engaging content across podcasts, YouTube, and social platforms. Our portfolio includes popular shows like "Cousins with Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady," "The Triple Option with Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone," and "Post Moves with Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston." We aim to build scalable content ecosystems that drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with content, sales, marketing, and leadership to proactively develop a pipeline of branded social franchises, sponsored concepts, and social-first extensions designed to grow audiences and create revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of a variety of highly engaging branded social franchises and sponsored content, from static posts and short-form video to on-location and activation productions.
  • Work with sales to translate advertiser briefs, objectives, and brand guidelines into creative concepts that feel authentic to our programming, channels, and audiences.
  • Partner with individual show content and social teams to ensure alignment with broader programming and audience strategies, while independently managing publishing and optimization of branded content.
  • Own assigned projects from concept through delivery. Manage pre-sale through post-production workflow, ensuring all teams are aligned expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage production and post-production of social content, with the ability to edit, shoot, and/or direct when appropriate, particularly for fast-turnaround social work.
  • Leverage strong understanding of platform algorithms and content strategies across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook to optimize publishing and distribution for maximum audience growth.
  • Publish content according to strategies set. Identify opportunities to extend larger productions into compelling short-form and social assets rather than simply creating cut-downs.
  • Evaluate campaign performances, use audience data and platform analytics, and keep up with latest trends to identify content opportunities and inform creative and distribution decisions.
  • Produce and direct on-camera talent, athletes, and creators remotely, in studio, and on location when necessary.
  • Serve as a flexible senior social resource across the portfolio, with the ability to step into lead channel strategy responsibilities when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Working fluency with production equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) with an ability to independently shoot and produce high-quality content. Experienced working directly with and coaching on-camera talent, athletes, creators, or other high-profile personalities. Strong organizational skills, ability to align multiple teams and manage ongoing productions across several shows simultaneously. Highly collaborative, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with significant creative ownership while maintaining alignment with key stakeholders. Passionate about sports content across digital channels, keeping up with latest news, trends, and best practices.
