About the role

This position’s primary function is to build infrastructure as code, automated pipelines, and other software services (PaaS and SaaS) to enable and support LNRSG’s cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Use of orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Analytic and troubleshooting experience, including migrating applications from on-premises to public cloud
  • Experience with Blue-Green deployment methodologies
  • Experience working with containerized workloads such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Log Management tools (e.g., Elastic Stack, Graylog, or Splunk)
  • Experience working with an enterprise RDBMS such as MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of change control and associated procedures
  • Use of Secret Management services (e.g., Hashicorp Vault)
  • Experience with any high-level programming language
  • Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or equivalents)
  • Professional experience working within public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers, including support and troubleshooting
  • System and application monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
  • Cloud architecture and system design to solve key business problems and facilitate team goals
  • Coding and scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery Tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
  • Hands-on experience performing application static/dynamic security and penetration assessments with tools such as SonarQube, CheckMarx, AppScan, BurpSuite, OWASP ZAP Proxy, WebInspect, Fortify, Veracode, Nessus
  • Good understanding of defensive, corrective, and detective controls and requirements
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10/SANS Top 25, identifying vulnerabilities via manual and automated testing methods, and remediating them effectively
  • Ability to recognize and escalate security issues
  • Exposure to application security testing (source code review and web/mobile application penetration tests)
  • Familiarity with different types of security vulnerabilities and tools for countermeasures
  • Monitoring and ongoing support of critical, high-revenue business applications
  • Working with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations, and Project Management
  • Ensuring 24/7 technical support and Service Level Agreement for customers is met
  • Delivery of resilient application stacks via "Infrastructure as Code" and other DevOps practices
  • Diagnosis and resolution of complex system and application issues
  • Writing and maintaining systems/application documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Depending on organizational design, manage Customer Reliability Engineering Activities driving Application Monitoring, Metrics, Incident Reviews, and Long-Term Actions
  • Support BISO Activities implementing InfoSec changes and license-driven upgrades

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong and enthusiastic technologist, able to demonstrate broad technical knowledge
  • Ability to act as a point of expertise, advise others in the team on best practices, and impart knowledge
  • Well-versed in Information Security principles at an intermediate level
  • Professional experience with common source control tools (e.g., Git, SVN)

Pay

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 – $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
