Senior Shipping Support
Position Summary
Senior Shipping Support will package valued-added electronic communication equipment into shipping containers for delivery to domestic and international customers using carriers and freight forwarders. Enter data into MRP system and other databases to record export/shipping information. Perform cycle counts and inventory transactions. File US government shipping data for international transactions.
Responsibilities
- Outstanding attendance and dependability.
- Experience with shipping and inventory processes/systems within a warehouse environment.
- Experience in collecting data from multiple sources for cycle counting and reconciliation efforts.
- Detail orientated attention and adherence to packing and shipping procedures and departmental policies.
- Must be a benchmark for demonstrating the ability to work at a fast pace, productively maintaining accuracy under extreme time constraints and pressure.
- Working knowledge and understanding of freight carriers (FedEx, DHL and UPS) and freight forwarders process(s).
- Understanding and execution of Shipping Process and Systems (Clippership, Carrier Systems).
- Understanding and execution of international shipping documentation and requirements.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of shipping, inventory and warehouse processes.
- Experience with computers, Inventory MRP systems and working knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience with documenting and providing solutions for process related discrepancies and improvements.
Skills
- Complete understanding and experienced with ERP systems and execution of inventory transactions including but not limited to WIP Receipts, Moves, and Shipments.
- Understanding and ability to reconcile any discrepancies.
- Ability to compile reports and create documentation using Microsoft office tools (Excel/Word) and/or PDF.
- Excellent counting skills and basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to complete verbal or written assignments in a timely manner with high level of accuracy.

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
