Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform across various modules to meet business requirements.
- Lead complex integrations using REST, SOAP, and other ServiceNow APIs to ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Sustain and enhance the CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to improve data quality, compliance, and visibility.
- Write advanced scripts including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer automations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to maintain high development standards.
- Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated with new ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices; apply these to existing and future implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in ServiceNow development with hands-on expertise.
- Strong knowledge and experience in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SECOPS, and Vulnerability Management modules.
- Proficient with CMDB, CSDM concepts, configuration, and governance.
- Expert-level scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow platform scripting tools.
- Extensive integration experience using REST/SOAP web services and third-party connectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or module-specific CIS preferred.
