Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

This position follows a hybrid work model, with the selected candidate expected to be in office 3 days per week at one of the following office locations: St. Petersburg, FL, Southfield, MI, or Memphis, TN. This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and subsystems.
• Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems, and exploiting opportunities.
• Stay current with new technologies.
• Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
• Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
• Review test results; document test activities and record remedial actions.
• Ensure proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.

Skills

• Ideally two (2) to four (4) years of ServiceNow experience.
• Solid background in ServiceNow applications and development.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Modules such as FSO, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, GRC/IRM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics is a plus.
• Development skills in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform.
• Experience with integrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.).
• Experience with Scoped Applications.
• Experience with Flow Designer, preferred.
• Experience with Integration Hub, preferred.
• Experience with Service Portal, preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

ServiceNow Certification is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science or Computer Engineering required.
• High School diploma required.

Work Experience

General experience: 3 to 6 years.

Certifications

Travel: Less than 25%.
