Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

MeeBoss is sharing this active opportunity on behalf of the hiring company. This is a remote, contract role for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Finance and Accounts Payable operations. The position requires an expert-level professional with over 10 years of ServiceNow development experience to design, configure, and support enterprise solutions across ITSM, CSM, and custom Finance modules. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and Finance/Accounts Payable Operations. You will collaborate with business process owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain solutions across ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, and custom Finance/APO modules
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and Access Control Rules (ACLs)
• Build and optimize Flow Designer flows, subflows, approvals, and automation processes
• Design and execute Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations
• Work with IntegrationHub and MID Server
• Manage Update Sets and support ServiceNow release management and platform upgrades
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and technical teams
• Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow development and security best practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• 15+ years of overall IT experience preferred
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and CSM
• Experience with Finance/Accounts Payable Operations (APO) or custom Finance modules
• Advanced JavaScript development skills
• Strong experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, and UI Policies
• Advanced experience with Flow Designer
• Strong experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server
• Experience with Update Sets, release management, platform upgrades, and production support
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
