Senior ServiceNow Developer

ServiceNow DeveloperJob Summary We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, scripting, integrations, workflows, and ITSM modules, along with a good understanding of ITIL processes. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.Work on Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB implementations.Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and Scheduled Jobs.Create and configure workflows, Flow Designer flows, approvals, notifications, and service catalog items.Develop custom applications and scoped applications using ServiceNow best practices.Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.Work with JavaScript for server-side and client-side ServiceNow development.Configure and customize forms, tables, fields, lists, views, dashboards, and reports.Perform troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.Follow ServiceNow development standards, security practices, and upgrade best practices.Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, QA teams, architects, and other technical teams.Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams. Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ITSM processes.Strong JavaScript programming and ServiceNow scripting skills.Experience with:Business RulesClient ScriptsScript IncludesUI PoliciesUI ActionsACLsData PoliciesScheduled JobsNotificationsWorkflows / Flow DesignerService CatalogExperience with REST/SOAP integrations and web services.Good understanding of CMDB and Configuration Management.Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, deployments, and update sets.Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills Experience with IntegrationHub, MID Server, and ServiceNow APIs.Experience with ITOM, ITOM Visibility, Discovery, Service Mapping, or CSM.Experience with ServiceNow custom application development.Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF).Experience with Performance Analytics and reporting.ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or CIS modules. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
