About the role

The Senior Service Offering Management Engineer enables and assures the management and abilities of the service offering system are controlled, balanced, and aligned to the mission and needs of the whole enterprise. This role involves addressing moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

You will architect IT solutions that meet the needs of the Pharmacy Engineering Team and Pharmacy IT Team from an IT infrastructure perspective. Strong leadership skills are essential to guide solution designs following existing technology patterns or developing new ones. The role assesses the impact of change on service quality and SLAs, closely aligning with operational processes to monitor and control activities through established metrics benchmarked against standards.

This position influences the department’s strategy, making decisions on technical approaches for project components with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches. You will also lead design sessions to align infrastructure requests with Humana IT standards and manage the delivery of IT infrastructure within defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Architect IT solutions for the Pharmacy Engineering and Pharmacy IT teams from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Guide solution designs using existing technology patterns or develop new patterns as needed.
  • Assess the impact of change on service quality and SLAs.
  • Establish and monitor metrics against benchmarks to ensure operational alignment.
  • Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components.
  • Lead design sessions to align infrastructure requests with Humana IT standards.
  • Manage the delivery of IT infrastructure within defined SLAs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of technical experience.
  • Experience assessing the impact of change on service quality and SLAs.
  • Experience establishing metrics that can be monitored against a benchmark.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.

Pay

The starting base pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $89,000 - $121,400 per year. Geographic location and individual pay may vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
