About the Opportunity

The Senior SecDevOps Engineer role is critical in establishing and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for an AI-powered hardware product development platform. This position supports the platform’s operational foundation, ensuring seamless coordination and integration across engineering teams, and directly impacts the efficiency and reliability of hardware development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform on platforms like GCP, AWS, and third-party providers
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for consistent, rapid deployments across services and environments
• Implement observability solutions including monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing for platform health
• Enforce security best practices such as secrets management, network policies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation
• Support AI/ML infrastructure including model serving and data pipelines for AI agents
• Create developer tooling to improve local environments, preview deployments, and infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure integration between application code and infrastructure

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in SecDevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Proficiency with AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Expert-level experience with at least one major cloud provider (preferably GCP; AWS or Azure accepted)
• Strong skills with Terraform and Docker
• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, and CDN configuration
• Proficient in Python for automation and tooling
• Experience with AI/ML production workloads and model serving
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis
• Knowledge of observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps
• Background in B2B SaaS and multi-tenant architectures
• Familiarity with SOC 2, FedRAMP, or ITAR compliance
