Job Summary
A Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader is seeking a Senior Scientist to join their Target Discovery and Biology group. Located fully onsite in the thriving biotech hub of Cambridge, MA, this role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your data will directly validate new therapeutic targets.
Responsibilities
- Design, perform, and interpret in vitro experiments under the leadership of the Lab Head.
- Generate high-quality data using cellular and molecular biology techniques to unravel cellular mechanisms.
- Analyze, interpret, and effectively present data across multiple multidisciplinary oncology teams.
- Explore and introduce novel technologies, approaches, and complex-disease models.
- Maintain a functional laboratory environment, technical equipment, and tools, including safe handling of radionuclides.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or vocational degree in cellular biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of biomedical research experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with CRISPR, qRT-PCR, cloning, cell culture, cell viability/death assays, and transient/stable cell line generation.
- Experience with immunoblotting, FACS, and data analysis software (e.g., Prism, Spotfire).
- Excellent scientific communication skills and a highly collaborative mindset.
