Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
- Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions.
- Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace.
- Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.
- Provide the design of exploration programs, including risk assessment and budgeting.
- Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards.
- Work within multi-disciplinary projects teams, distributing and sharing work to junior staff.
- Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation: Gather information and resources, and draft and complete standard requests for bid solicitation requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for tender (RFT) on the requester side.
- Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
- Community of Practice Management: Participate in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to begin to build own expertise.
- Work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives: For example, readily involves others to accomplish goals; stays in touch and shares information; discourages "us versus them" thinking; shows appreciation for others' ideas and input.

Qualifications
- 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Geology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science or equivalent.
- 6 to 8+ years of related experience, including 1 to 3+ years of project management experience in a client-facing role.
- Solid understanding of the Washington State Department of Ecology Model Toxics Control Act for site cleanups.
- Experience in the technical delivery of contaminated site investigations and remediation, and environmental case closure.
- Proven experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment.
- Self-starter and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized and have strong written and technical skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving – ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem.
- Commitment to safety utilizing a behavior based safety (BBS) culture in all aspects of the job.
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
