Responsibilities
- Review and provide oversight of contractor schedule submittals.
- Monitor critical path activities, project milestones, logic structures, and schedule interfaces.
- Update project schedules on a monthly basis.
- Perform schedule variance analysis and identify potential schedule risks.
- Recommend recovery strategies and mitigation plans for schedule delays.
- Prepare schedule forecasts and progress reports.
- Evaluate schedule logic, sequencing, dependencies, and project interfaces.
- Identify schedule slippage and communicate schedule-related issues to project leadership.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Support project commercial and scheduling management functions within a matrix organization.
- Analyze contractor performance and provide recommendations to improve schedule execution.
- Assist with forensic schedule reviews and claims analysis when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of relevant scheduling experience.
- Extensive construction scheduling experience.
- Expert proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Strong schedule analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience managing complex construction project schedules.
- Ability to analyze critical path activities, logic structures, and schedule impacts.
- Experience developing schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, and schedule forecasting.
- Experience with forensic schedule analysis and construction claims analysis highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Professional Credentials
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP®) preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) preferred.
- AACE Certified Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP®) preferred.
- AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP®) beneficial when combined with scheduling experience.
