Responsibilities
- Directs the planning function across allocated projects and tenders, ensuring schedules are effectively developed, monitored and delivered.
- Safely delivers high-quality and compliant project delivery, promoting wellbeing, inclusion and strong HSE standards.
- Drives performance across key assignments, ensuring effective planning, scheduling and monitoring aligned with business objectives.
- Supports strategic development, governance and responsible decision-making across functions and business units.
- Fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing and strong stakeholder relationships to enable people and projects to excel.
- Manages effective planning, scheduling and project controls, applying recognised methodologies and tools.
- Provides clear analysis, advice and corrective actions to stakeholders and clients.
- Manages and develops a high-performing planning team, influencing client decisions and outcomes.
- Delivers project requirements while supporting net-zero ambitions and proactive carbon management.
Requirements
- Professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE or equivalent) with strong continuous development.
- Extensive planning experience across complex property or infrastructure programmes.
- Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management capability.
- Proven leadership of large, diverse teams with awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts.
