About the role
Puget Sound Energy is looking to grow its community with top talent. The IT Application Solutions team is seeking a Senior SCADA Analyst with an IT background, particularly those experienced with Aveva's OASys DNA and OSIsoft PI products in a utility environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the multi-site, high availability Gas SCADA system
- Maintain and enhance all primary and peripheral systems within the Gas SCADA environment
- Design, develop, and deploy applications to meet the needs of internal customers
- Collaborate with security, systems, and database administration to optimize enhancement and maintenance efforts
- Configure and maintain alarm management for SCADA system alarms
- Deploy and configure patches in multiple gas domains
- Mentor and train lower-level analysts
- Ensure telemetry and controls are available and accurate
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors during project conception and implementation
- Manage smaller projects or project teams from conception to completion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years IT experience, including several years of systems development experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Demonstrated project management skills for smaller projects
- Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, self-motivated with a customer-focused service attitude
- Good organizational skills and ability to meet objectives
Benefits
The pay range for this position is $103,100.00 - $181,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals-based incentive bonuses.
