Senior SAP ABAP RAP & Fiori Developer

Equal Plus Consulting is searching for a Senior SAP ABAP RAP & Fiori Developer to work remotely for a U.S.-based client. This is a 6-12 month contract starting September 2026. Candidates must be located in the Eastern time zone and have aerospace experience.

About the Role

This role focuses on clean core custom extensions, OData service provisioning, and intuitive web interfaces within an SAP S/4HANA environment (On-Premise or Public/Private Cloud), leveraging SAP BTP ABAP Environment and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build transactional and analytical business objects using ABAP RAP (managed and unmanaged behaviors).
• Create and optimize CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Develop, customize, and deploy SAPUI5 freestyle apps or Fiori Elements, and expose OData V2/V4 services.
• Follow SAP Clean Core strategy by avoiding legacy modification practices and using released cloud-ready ABAP APIs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical designs, and participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• 5 to 10+ years of total SAP ABAP experience with a solid portfolio of delivered S/4HANA Fiori/RAP projects.
• Advanced proficiency in ABAP, ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), and RAP.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and OData protocol.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows (Jira, Confluence, Git-based source control).
