About the Role
Drata is seeking a Senior Salesforce Systems Administrator to support the scaling and ongoing evolution of our go-to-market (GTM) systems. In this role, you’ll be a core contributor to the design, maintenance, and administration of our Salesforce and supporting systems ecosystem—ensuring stability, usability, scalability, and data integrity across the GTM systems stack. You will report directly to our GTM Systems leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Business Operations) to deliver efficient, well-governed solutions in Salesforce and connected platforms such as CPQ, Service Cloud, NetSuite, and Snowflake. This is a high-impact role focused on supporting Drata’s growth from $100M+ to the next level through automation, data quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Drata’s Salesforce instance and supporting systems, including day-to-day configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and user support.
- Contribute as part of the GTM Systems team to implement roadmap initiatives, working from design through testing and deployment.
- Maintain and optimize CPQ, pricing, quoting, and opportunity workflows to support our quote-to-cash process.
- Manage pre-production and production environments, deploy changes using change sets or devops tooling, and ensure integrity of changes made to production systems.
- Maintain field hygiene, object architecture, page layouts, profiles, permission sets, validation rules, and flows to align with data governance standards.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes in partnership with internal teams and external consultants.
- Ensure documentation and user training materials are updated and easily accessible; support onboarding of new users and teams.
- Support integrations and data flows between Salesforce and external systems.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that support pipeline management, forecasting, customer lifecycle, and revenue operations.
- Conduct regular system audits and health checks, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure proper role-based access, auditability, and system availability.
- Participate in release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform changes and proactively recommend relevant new features or capabilities.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of strong expertise in enterprise application architecture, including Salesforce and integrated tools supporting finance, billing, and revenue ops.
- Experience administering and supporting tools within a revenue technology stack, such as Clari, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo, with an understanding of how these tools support sales execution.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with exposure to Experience Cloud and a functional understanding of Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash processes.
- Foundational knowledge of Salesforce development concepts, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and platform limits, with the ability to read, troubleshoot, and safely extend existing solutions.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party tools, using native connectors, managed packages, or integration platforms, and collaborating with senior team members on more complex integrations.
- Proven ability to contribute to Salesforce initiatives, assisting with solution design, configuration, testing, release management, and post-deployment support in cross-functional environments.
- Skilled in building, maintaining, and enhancing scalable Salesforce solutions, supporting quote-to-cash workflows, billing processes, and operational automation under established architectural standards.
- Working knowledge of SaaS business models, sales KPIs, and operational metrics, enabling effective support of Go-To-Market teams and informed configuration decisions.
- Interest in mentorship and knowledge sharing, collaborating with fellow administrators and developers while continuing to grow technical and leadership skills.
- A strong sense of ownership and quality, with experience delivering well-structured, maintainable solutions and following best practices for documentation, testing, and system governance.
