About the Opportunity
The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the strategic management, continuous optimization, and architectural governance of multiple complex Salesforce environments across the enterprise. This role ensures that the CRM platforms remain highly scalable, secure, fully compliant, and closely aligned with evolving business objectives. The position blends deep technical platform expertise with strategic business insight to lead multi-system integrations, data governance, and overall platform roadmaps, contributing directly to organizational efficiency and revenue operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer, architect, and govern multiple Salesforce instances to ensure structural consistency, configuration alignment, and long-term scalability across business units
- Establish, document, and enforce global best practices for platform configuration, environment security, and object-level data management
- Manage the end-to-end user and license provisioning lifecycle, maintaining strict role hierarchies, permission sets, and sharing rules
- Lead advanced declarative Salesforce configuration (including custom objects, fields, validation rules, and page layouts) and collaborate with developers on complex programmatic enhancements
- Maintain system performance, interface usability, and declarative automation architecture continuously
- Design, implement, and manage complex integrations between Salesforce and critical internal or external systems (such as ERP, marketing automation, and clinical data platforms)
- Ensure reliable bi-directional data flow, API efficiency, and strict adherence to enterprise architecture standards
- Partner directly with engineering teams, systems architects, and external vendors for integration design, testing, and advanced troubleshooting
- Oversee global data governance initiatives, including data quality monitoring, automated deduplication strategies, and large-scale migration pipelines
- Develop, curate, and maintain sophisticated reports, dynamic dashboards, and custom analytics views for executive leadership
- Translate complex operational business metrics into actionable, data-driven Salesforce analytics and predictive tracking
- Manage formal change management processes, sandbox deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and structured application release cycles
- Act as a strategic consultative partner to cross-functional leadership, aligning Salesforce capabilities with long-term corporate goals
- Lead or support high-impact cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, technical scope, and project resources as needed
- Oversee day-to-day platform support processes to ensure timely, efficient resolution of system bugs and user inquiries
- Promote organic user adoption across the company through targeted training sessions, workshops, and clear system documentation
- Monitor user adoption trends, system usage metrics, and license allocation to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare data security requirements, privacy regulations (such as HIPAA), and formal internal audit standards
- Track, document, and manage routine compliance tasks, including scheduled access reviews, security health checks, and vulnerability patching
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a closely related technical field preferred; or equivalent practical professional experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on Salesforce administration experience, with a proven track record of managing multi-org environments or highly customized enterprise instances
- Active Salesforce Certified Administrator credential required; advanced certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Consultant certifications) highly preferred
- Strong, comprehensive knowledge of core Salesforce platform architecture, multi-tenant limitations, and ecosystem best practices
- Extensive, expert-level experience building and maintaining complex workflows utilizing declarative automation tools (specifically Salesforce Flow)
- Proven technical capability in managing platform integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and modern middleware tools (such as MuleSoft, Zapier, or Celigo)
- Strong analytical, conceptual problem-solving, and structural project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively engage and align diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven resilience and multitasking ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing daily operations with strategic project milestones
- Prior hands-on experience implementing or administering Salesforce Chatbot solutions and Einstein AI/Analytics capabilities
- Experience working with modern release management, version control, and DevOps tools (such as Copado, Gearset, or GitHub) within a Salesforce pipeline
- Previous experience operating within a HIPAA-compliant, health-tech, medical device, or broader regulated healthcare IT ecosystem
Pay Range and Compensation Package
