Senior Sales Trader, Equity Distribution Director

About the Role
As a Senior Sales Trader, you will execute the strategy of the Equity Distribution business, including executing trades and/or providing advisory market content in your relevant product, sector, or market, aligned with the Function’s trading strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Create and deliver high-value financial analysis to a targeted universe of clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell other products offered by the bank.
- Provide input on the strategic direction of the group and professional development of team members.
- Develop and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with other parts of the bank to offer multiple products and solutions to clients.
- Mentor and guide deal teams on setting project initiatives, executing pitches, ensuring successful transactions, and developing junior team members.
- Identify issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication internally and with other bank areas, and monitor productivity against benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and guidelines applicable to the division to appropriately mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge.
- Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities while generating significant revenue.
- Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges, and seizing opportunities.
- Proven ability to coach and encourage a diverse team of talented individuals to achieve outstanding results.

This role is based in-office at One Columbus Circle, New York, NY.
Pay
The base salary range for this position in New York City is $300,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. The posted range does not include incentive compensation or other remuneration.
