Responsibilities

• Successfully complete assigned objectives of designated sales area while supporting the Area Manager and helping develop all staff assigned to the sales group
• Relieve route personnel
• Train associates
• Present established and effective sales training methods, techniques, and ideas
• Sell and execute at store level
• Address complaints and resolve problems
• Provide excellent customer service
• Report on progress of sales trainees and personnel under guidance during training period
• Work with all functional team members
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED’s Fleet policy
• DOT Certification required
• Class A CDL preferred
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Previous Merchandising experience preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to problem-solve and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Build strong relationships with customer base across assigned customers

Schedule

Monday-Friday (possible weekends), 6am until work is complete.
