About The Hotel

Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a client base through direct selling and networking.
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities.
- Achieve personal and team sales goals.
- Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rentals, and other hotel services.
- Accurately produce and review sales contracts.
- Handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals.
- Ensure accurate booking details are entered into hotel systems.
- Make weekly sales calls to clients.
- Generate and review sales reports and forecasts.
- Participate in the annual budget process and sales/marketing plan development.
- Attend and represent the hotel at trade shows and conventions.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to facilitate services.
- Interact with guests, employees, and third-party contacts to ensure their satisfaction.
- Manage client files and update information daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including serving as "manager on duty" as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 years of experience in large or varied market segments, or hospitality/hotel sales and marketing.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to stand, carry items up to 25 pounds, and handle objects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license (if required).
- Travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc.
