About the role
Jordan’s Furniture is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead and manage our competitive, commissioned Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years combined sales and management experience in high volume major retailers or equivalent education/experience.
Responsibilities
- Interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, motivating, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining Sales Consultants
- Identifying training and procedural needs to increase sales productivity; making recommendations to Store Manager and implementing necessary changes
- Reviewing and analyzing sales reports to monitor the productivity level of Sales Consultants and ensuring that all budgeted sales goals are met
- Responding to escalated customer service issues and resolving problems
- Monitoring sales floor to ensure all guests are being assisted by sales personnel
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years combined sales and management in high volume major retailer or equivalent education/experience
- Solid understanding of product knowledge as it pertains to the furniture industry
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Pay
Pay Range: $85,000-$95,000 per year
