About the Role
The Enterprise Sales Team at Cvent is growing and is seeking experienced Sales Executives to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and close new logos, manage your Sales Development Representative, and collaborate with Account Managers to expand existing accounts. You will present products and services to Enterprise Accounts, exceed revenue targets, and ensure comprehensive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and close new logos
- Demonstrate solution-selling skills
- Manage Sales Development Representatives to ensure prospects turn into actual customers
- Collaborate with Account Managers to expand existing accounts
- Proactively identify and engage with targeted Key Accounts
- Present products and services to Enterprise Accounts
- Exceed established revenue targets for new business opportunities
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report
- Manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
- Monitor and report sales activity within the system
- Collaborate with Account Management and Client Services teams to ensure comprehensive customer satisfaction
- Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of prior revenue generating software sales experience (more experience is desired)
- Industry experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, mobile apps, and analytics
- Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
- Able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
- Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives
- Strong business acumen, ethics, and high integrity

Pay
The estimated base salary range for new hires into the Senior Sales Executive role is $60,000-$100,000 annually + commission, depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location. The estimated base salary range for new hires into the Sales Executive role is $50,000-$83,000 annually + commission, depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location.
