About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Safety Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and governance of company's Safety Program across all sites
- Establish and standardize safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations
- Develop and implement machine safety and automation risk standards
- Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions
- Design and implement safety training and certification programs
- Perform site audits to identify and close compliance gaps
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate safety into operations
- Oversee contractor and vendor safety compliance
- Develop and report safety KPIs to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, industrial management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of safety leadership experience in varied industrial settings
- 3 years experience in leading teams
- CSP and NFPA 70E competency required
- Electrical safety specialization preferred, especially for automation-heavy operations
- Demonstrated experience in scaling safety programs across multiple sites
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and industrial risk management
- Excellent communication skills to influence senior leadership
