Senior Risk Manager, US Department of Transportation, TRC

About the role

The Senior Risk Manager will work closely with Amazon's transportation businesses to build strategic initiatives and frameworks that safeguard Amazon's commercial motor carrier authorities, support business growth, and ensure a safe, compliant, and trustworthy experience for our partner business units, carrier partners, employees, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and implement risk programs and drive improvements quantified with metrics.
• Lead, monitor and drive projects through to completion on time.
• Establish successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Use problem-solving skills using data and insights to drive both tactical and strategic business decisions.
• Travel less than 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

• Base salary range: $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually
