About the role

We're seeking an experienced Risk Manager to own and operate the Data Preservation Program supporting legal proceedings in the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as corporate representative in depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Last Mile operations, policies, and procedures
  • Influences roadmaps, business and technology decisions, and risk portfolio strategy for Last Mile litigation defense
  • High impact at organizational level, affecting multiple products across multiple organizations
  • Manages the full lifecycle of complex risk programs with negotiated and defined obligations
  • Drives risk reduction quantified with metrics, balancing customer experience against risk management concerns
  • Partner with DSP Analytics to enable teams to self-serve data through training on tools and pre-built queries
  • Aggregate common use cases and assess build vs. self-service requirements, coordinating with teams per established RACI
  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) coordinator, routing topics to appropriate SMEs, tracking feedback timelines, and escalating gaps
  • Partner with Legal to identify additional opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
  • 5+ years of program or project Management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience as a corporate representative preferred

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, NY, New York - 133,300.00 - 185,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, TN, Nashville - 109,000.00 - 155,400.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin - 121,200.00 - 163,900.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue - 121,200.00 - 163,900.00 USD annually
