Risk Manager, Senior

About the role

The Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the national security mission through cutting-edge technology. They are responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential threats to the organization's assets, operations, finances, and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth risk evaluations to identify potential financial, operational, compliance, safety, and security risks facing the organization.
• Create and implement comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and strategies to mitigate identified threats.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of contingency plans, business continuity plans, and internal controls to reduce potential negative impacts.
• Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and compliance issues for management and stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and review the effectiveness of risk management strategies and adapt them as needed.
• Promote a strong risk-aware culture by training employees and stakeholders on safety procedures and risk management best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, or related field.
• TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance highly desired.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify potential risks, and develop foresightful strategies.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and strategies to various levels of the organization.
• Strong ability to find solutions for complex and unexpected challenges.
• In-depth understanding of the company's industry, operations, and legal obligations to accurately assess risks.
• PMI-RMP certification highly desired.

Qualifications

• Passionate about keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.
• Experience in a similar role within the Intel sector or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven track record of successful risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000.00 - $200000.00.

Schedule

This role is located in USA VA Arlington, but a hybrid working model is acceptable.
