About the role

We are seeking a Senior Residential Supervisor to lead a dynamic team in a residential treatment setting for adolescents specializing in trauma-informed care. Pelham Academy provides 24-hour comprehensive care, including an on-site school, full clinical and nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Residential Department’s supervision system to ensure all staff receive appropriate and timely supervisions for professional development.
  • Plan and run shifts to ensure the safety of the milieu and compliance with all policies.
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage.
  • Provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures and ensure staffing ratios are met at all times.
  • Support efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • Lead residential meetings and trainings to support staff and programming.
  • Perform physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to maintain a safe therapeutic atmosphere for students.
  • Transport students as required (valid driver’s license necessary).

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Experience in a residential program or mental health facility required.
  • Supervisory experience in a mental health facility required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license (transporting students is required).
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts as required.

Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. Due to the nature of our work, overtime may be mandated.
