Senior researcher - gut on chip validation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of the gut on chip validation
  • Design and perform experiments aligned with the project’s milestones, goals, and budget.
  • Develop and optimize protocols (SOPs) and perform detailed data analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports, present findings at scientific conferences, and co-author publications.
  • Cook up communication with project stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Supervise and mentor research technicians and undergraduate students.
  • Ensure a collaborative, inclusive, and efficient lab environment.

Requirements

  • PhD in biology, biomedical sciences, or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with primary mammalian cell cultures and standard analytical techniques.
  • Proven track record of leading experimental work and scientific publications.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in supervising students or lab technicians.

Desirable

  • Experience With Intestinal Models Using Primary Cell Cultures.
  • Prior involvement in intestinal model validation or drug testing.
  • Familiarity with organ on chip systems and/or microfluidics.
  • Industrial R&D experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
  • Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques(e.g., confocal microscopy, IHC/IF).
