Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation of the gut on chip validation
- Design and perform experiments aligned with the project’s milestones, goals, and budget.
- Develop and optimize protocols (SOPs) and perform detailed data analysis.
- Prepare technical reports, present findings at scientific conferences, and co-author publications.
- Cook up communication with project stakeholders and collaborators.
- Supervise and mentor research technicians and undergraduate students.
- Ensure a collaborative, inclusive, and efficient lab environment.
Requirements
- PhD in biology, biomedical sciences, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with primary mammalian cell cultures and standard analytical techniques.
- Proven track record of leading experimental work and scientific publications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in supervising students or lab technicians.
Desirable
- Experience With Intestinal Models Using Primary Cell Cultures.
- Prior involvement in intestinal model validation or drug testing.
- Familiarity with organ on chip systems and/or microfluidics.
- Industrial R&D experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques(e.g., confocal microscopy, IHC/IF).
