Senior Research Scientist, Evidence Synthesis

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Research Scientist, Evidence Synthesis to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will focus on delivering rigorous evidence synthesis work that supports high-impact decision-making for clients across the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex research into clear, client-ready outputs and actionable insights. The position also offers the opportunity to guide junior team members, shape project execution, and contribute to business development efforts. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams on complex evidence synthesis projects
• Develop client-ready deliverables including protocols and technical reports
• Manage project components and ensure timely, high-quality outputs
• Lead client communications and provide independent research insights
• Create development plans and mentor junior staff members
• Contribute to business development proposals and presentations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health services research or a related field such as health economics, epidemiology, or public health
• 4-6 years of professional experience in evidence synthesis or related domains
• Strong understanding of health technology assessment and the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to oversee systematic literature reviews and quantitative evidence synthesis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EndNote; knowledge of R/R Shiny is a plus

Pay

Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 annually.
