For our client, a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space, we are seeking a Senior Research Economist specializing in Health Care Systems Research. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance within a mission-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
About the role
You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute innovative solutions to complex health policy problems
- Conduct technical economic research with authoritative results
- Lead proposal preparations for complex and high-value projects
- Set research policies related to broader organizational strategies
- Review and innovate proposals for complex research requests
- Direct teams in complex research tasks and data modeling
- Enhance the brand’s reputation as a technical expert through publications and presentations
Qualifications
- PhD with 10+ years, Master's with 14+ years, or Bachelor's with 18+ years of relevant experience
- Proven success in securing proposals for CMS or FDA
- Expertise in medical/pharmaceutical claims study design and analytic data interpretation
- Ability to model legislative/regulatory impacts on stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Medicare Part D, drug pricing reforms, and relevant regulations
- Experience with diverse data sources including Medicare claims and health surveys
- History of leading quantitative analysis and policy evaluation projects
Pay
$205,000 – $254,000 annually
