About the role
Gartner analysts help clients solve complex IAM and cybersecurity issues. They conduct research, provide guidance, and deliver high-quality, actionable advice through various media.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients daily via video conference or face-to-face at Gartner events/client visits.
- Conduct research and analysis in specific areas of IAM technologies and services.
- Provide guidance to clients on IAM technologies and services in corporate and cloud environments.
- Collaborate as part of a globally distributed team of analysts.
- Write clear, actionable advisory research documents.
- Predict IAM market developments to assist clients in their selection process and vendor market positioning.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT, Project Management, and lead the design and delivery of innovative analytics solutions.
- Stay ahead of IAM developments and issues within coverage areas and adjacent areas.
- Respond to client questions and deliver presentations via various mediums.
- Maintain Gartner’s industry leadership reputation by responding to press inquiries.
Requirements
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to apply conceptual models and recognize patterns while drawing and defending conclusions.
- Articulate and succinct communication skills.
- Experience in speaking engagements is an advantage.
- 12+ years of experience in a research or technology-related role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of IAM technology selection, procurement, and implementation, IAM operations and governance, IAM program management and governance, including vision and strategic planning; talent management; developing policies; controls and operational processes; program maturity assessment.
- Working knowledge of advanced authentication solutions, externalized authorization management tools, access management tools, and privileged access management tools.

Pay
Base salary range: $172,000 - $202,500
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule with the option to work remotely.
