Senior Reporter, Finance
Primary Responsibilities
- Report and write a mix of original stories about banking and Wall Street, from quick-turnaround pieces and scoops to richly reported features and analysis
- Develop your own angles to cover within the finance sector, and become an authoritative, must-read reporter covering those angles
- Participate in Fortune events and conferences, and write for the print magazine
- Uphold Fortune’s standards of journalistic rigor, accuracy, fairness, and quality
Qualifications
- Extensive experience covering finance news as a beat reporter, including a record of publishing scoops
- A proven ability to develop sources inside and outside companies
- Strong writing chops and is adept at writing in various story formats and styles
- Inherently curious and willing to learn on the go
Pay
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000. This range is a good faith estimate and may ultimately vary based on a number of relevant factors.
