Senior Reliability & Instrumentation Field Technologist

About the role

Serve as a Senior Reliability & Instrumentation Field Technologist responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex instrumentation systems and equipment in various industrial settings. Lead teams in performing preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve instrument malfunctions and system failures in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation systems.
• Train and mentor junior field technicians on reliability and instrumentation best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new instrumentation technologies.
• Document all work activities and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in field instrumentation and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in using various instrumentation tools and diagnostic software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation systems and control networks.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
