About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will market new commercial banking clients to the Bank and manage and grow portfolio client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing new commercial banking clients to the Bank
  • Managing and growing portfolio client relationships
  • Making larger, more complex loans with limited guidance from the Regional Manager
  • Providing guidance to Relationship Managers I and II
  • Partnership with the Portfolio Manager and Credit Administration to provide timely closing of loans and other credit approval processes
  • Maintain and enhance existing client relationships
  • Meet all ongoing established portfolio growth and credit quality goals

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in various commercial loan types, with strong credit skills
  • Strong understanding of all Bank credit, deposit and cash management products
  • Ability to clearly explain products to current and prospective clients
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum 5-7 years’ relevant banking experience and/or training
  • Basic understanding of banking policies and procedures
  • Solid understanding of Accounting, Financial Accounting, Commercial Credit underwriting
  • Excellent communication, sales, and public relations skills

  • Demonstrated ability to operate a computer with Windows-based programs (Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Pay

The hiring pay range for this position is $155,666 to $255,718. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
